KS Composites Proudly Raises £10,000 for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People

KS Composites is delighted to announce that it has raised £10,000 in support of Rainbows, East Midlands’ only children’s hospice charity. Through various fundraising initiatives and the generous contributions of our employees, suppliers, and community partners, we have achieved this significant milestone.

A few of our fundraising activities from the past 12 months:

  • Entered a team of runners, including MD, Jamie Smith into last year’s Great North Run
  • Sponsored Rainbows’ mascot, Bow Bear, who spread joy and happiness at various community events throughout the year
  • Held a Charity Fun Day and Football game on the hottest day of the year and ended up losing our FD for a good few weeks after a serious knee injury. All for a good cause though!
  • Numerous other smaller, activities during the year.

Plans are already afoot for this year, starting with a team of people taking part in “Challenge The Wild” event in the Lake District in May…. Stay tuned for updates!

These contributions underline our commitment to making a positive impact beyond our industry. The funds raised will directly benefit the children and families supported by the hospice, providing essential care, support, and comfort during the most challenging of times.

“We are immensely proud of our team for their dedication and generosity in supporting such a worthy cause,” said Jamie Smith, Managing Director at KS. “As a company, we believe in giving back to our community, and this initiative reflects our values of compassion and solidarity.”

KS extends its gratitude to everyone who contributed to this fundraising effort, demonstrating the power of collective action in making a difference in the lives of those in need.
