Norco Composites & GRP has been accepted into the UK Authorised User Community (AU-UK) by the Ministry of Defence. This makes Norco eligible to support qualifying defence programmes across the United Kingdom, United States and Australia under the AUKUS exemption to the US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR §126.7).
What AUKUS Authorised User status means for our customers
Under the exemption, eligible authorised users in the three AUKUS nations can exchange many controlled defence articles, technical data and defence services without applying for a separate US export licence each time. For customers, this can mean quicker programme starts, fewer administrative delays and a simpler route to working with a UK supplier, especially where US-origin data or components are involved.
Membership is subject to the Authorised User Community terms and conditions and does not remove wider export-control obligations. Norco will continue to manage every programme in line with the relevant UK and US requirements.
