Reactive Components Continues to Grow

Reactive Components’ new R&D centre in Leicester is now fully open and working on a number of new projects with clients helping them to go from concept to market.

The company is pleased to welcome Jack Dabbs, Laura Callis and Rohan Didier to the team here at its Development Centre in Leicester.

Jack joins the company as Product Development Engineer and has a real passion for developing products for the composites industry. He has interests in aerospace, motorsport and defence projects. Jack qualified as a Materials Engineer at Loughborough University.

Laura joined the company as an Administrative Officer but has already taken on a wider brief within the company. Whilst she enjoys her part time role as a swimming instructor working with young people she has a wealth of experience in Office Administration and Human Resources. Laura has a CIPD qualification in HR Practices and is already proving to be a valuable team member.

Rohan joins the company as a Product Development Technician to gain experience in the business during his gap year before heading to university.

Reactive Components is still moving at pace to ensure the adequate equipment is in place to support its customers. Following the first phase of investment in analytical instruments, Reactive has now acquired a suite of materials preparation equipment.

From safe preparation area to high shear and heated & vacuum mixing equipment, Reactive now has the relevant tools to develop and confirm adequate manufacturing process. This also provides the possibility to manufacture air-free batches of up to 10 litres to support meaningful product validation.
