18 November 2025 | ENGEL, Leamington Spa
Composites UK, in collaboration with the British Plastics Federation (BPF) is pleased to announce Thermoplastic Composites 2025: Strategies and Innovations for Reducing Costs, Carbon Emissions and Waste, will take place on 18 November 2025 at ENGEL’s state-of-the-art facility in Leamington Spa.
This one-day conference will bring together industry leaders, technical experts, and sustainability champions to explore the growing importance of thermoplastic composites in creating more efficient, circular, and environmentally responsible manufacturing processes.
The organisations are looking for speakers for this event to create a dynamic programme of presentations and case studies covering:
- Lightweighting and emissions reduction strategies
- Recycling, reuse, and end-of-life solutions for thermoplastics
- Innovations in processing, automation, and hybrid materials
- Cost reduction through material and process optimisation
- Cross-sector applications in automotive, aerospace, and beyond
With an increasing focus on the circular economy and net-zero targets, thermoplastic composites offer unique advantages – combining strength, reprocessability, and design flexibility. This event will highlight how these materials are reshaping manufacturing approaches and enabling greener supply chains.
The event is designed for materials engineers, OEMs, product designers, composite manufacturers, environmental specialists, and R&D professionals seeking practical insights and strategic partnerships.
Claire Whysall, Marketing and Communications Manager at Composites UK, said: “As sustainability becomes a commercial imperative, thermoplastic composites are proving to be game-changers. This conference will give attendees a clear view of where the industry is heading and how to be part of it.”
Paul Baxter, Events Manager at the British Plastics Federation said: “This well-established event will explore overcoming a wide range of challenges that lie ahead, while highlighting the key role thermoplastic composites can play in the drive towards sustainability. We encourage anyone interested in learning about the latest innovations in thermoplastic composites to attend.”
